गोबर गणेश और 24 दीये — a Ganesha figure and 24 diyas made from cow dung, gobar, as the listing describes them, from Uttraksh Enterprises in New Delhi.
Cow dung has a long place in Indian puja: floors and courtyards were once plastered with it before festivals, and gobar diyas and figures are made for Diwali and for daily worship. Place the Ganesha in the home shrine and light the diyas with ghee or oil and a cotton wick at Diwali, Dev Deepawali or any puja.
Handle the diyas gently, keep them dry until use, and set lit diyas on a heat-safe surface away from curtains and anything that can catch fire.
